Delhi University has launched its Financial Support Scheme (FSS) for the academic year 2025-26, aimed at providing fee waivers and financial help to students from economically weaker backgrounds. - Full-time bonafide students of DU departments, institutes, and centres.
- Both UG and PG degree students are eligible.
- Students from constituent colleges, SOL, NCWEB, and certain professional courses like B.Tech (except CIC) and five-year integrated law courses are not eligible.
- Students with essential repeats in previous exams are also not eligible.
What Benefits Are Offered?
The scheme provides fee waivers depending on the annual family income of the applicant.
- Students with family income up to Rs. 4,00,000 can receive up to 100% fee waiver.
- Students with family income between Rs. 4,00,001 and Rs. 8,00,000 can receive up to 50% fee waiver.
The waiver is provided only against actual fee amounts with a maximum limit set by the university.

- Income certificate or EWS/OBC-NCL certificate issued after March 31, 2025.
- Income Tax Return (2024-25) of family members, if applicable.
- PAN cards of family members.
- Undertaking form as per DU format.
- Bonafide certificate from Head/Director of the concerned department or institute.
- Last examination mark sheet.
- Latest fee receipt.
- Bank account details of the student.

- After filling the online form, students must submit a printed copy along with documents at the DSW office as per the notified schedule.
